Contemporary individuals (first three generations) are hidden from visitors.
You can start browsing from the ancestor wheel on the site's home page or from the pedigree map opposite. You can use the Lists > Individuals menu and the Search menu to find a specific individual. Alternatively, the Lists > Branches menu is more useful when only the surname is known or to resolve homonyms.
For the most part, the sources of the information are the online archives of the French departments, the records of which are summarised and/or commented on in the form of notes (they are therefore not at all literal transcriptions).
Some elements which have not been verified, generally linked to cousins, have been found on Geneanet or are taken from old works (famille d’Albignac). The data relating to the Spanish branch comes largely from the Enciclopedia de los apellidos de Novelda.
Ordinary visitors cannot see most of the images, which are essentially copies of deeds from the online archives. Only the portraits of well-known cousins are accessible to them.
All the people in this database are related, either by blood or marriage.
